X-Culture

Tell them and they will forget.
Show them and they will remember.
Engage them and they will understand.

As part of our commitment to global learning and collaboration, one of our organizations has partnered with X-Culture since October 2021, an initiative led by Dr. Vasyl Taras. X-Culture collaborates with renowned institutions such as the University of North Carolina, Lynn University, Gannon University, Marywood University, Florida Tech, and Nazareth College. This partnership aims to provide our students with exposure to international project execution by integrating them into global online teams, with participants from different countries working together.

X-Culture has attracted participation from major global companies, including Mercedes-Benz, Home Depot, Louis Vuitton, JBC, Hard Rock International, Perkins, Nuova Simonelli, Eurosuole, Cocci Grifoni, iGuzzini, Calgary International Airport, and Lake Louise Ski Resort, among others. These companies present real-world business challenges to be solved by students.

The X-Culture program is a Global Collaboration Course that combines theoretical training with practical experience. Over the course of two months, students from 140 universities across 43 countries on 6 continents collaborate in virtual teams to create high-quality business plans for multinational companies. Student's performance is evaluated on both an individual and group basis, with feedback and guidance provided based on their contributions.

By participating in X-Culture, our students gain valuable insights into the complexities of globalization and business challenges, allowing them to provide practical solutions to real-life problems faced by companies. This experience not only deepens their theoretical understanding but also equips them with the skills to solve global business issues.

Our students are excited and motivated by the opportunity to work with peers from around the world on live international projects. The X-Culture project is coordinated by Professors Dr. Porinita Banerjee and Dr. Sheena Abraham.
